The Worldwide Field Operations Organisation (WFO) at Veritas is currently looking for motivated individuals who influence change and make a difference in demand generation. The WFO team are critical to Veritas’ success. This group engages with the customer from the first contact of discussing how Veritas can support the key business challenges through to implementation of the solution to supporting the technical teams internally.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

The Senior Demand Creation and Channel Marketing Manager is accountable for driving lead generation from both direct and thru partner marketing activity for the Central Region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria and BENELUX) Leading a team responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team. Acting as liaison between partner and field sales teams as well as global marketing, marketing & sales operations and inside sales team.

The Senior Demand Creation and Channel Marketing Manager is accountable for driving at least 15% of the pipeline, through direct or assisted contribution to the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific responsibilities for this role include:

Devise regional marketing strategy to meet 15% pipeline contribution and align with global marketing objectives.

Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales.

* Set the direction and manage performance of the German tele-qualification team to support the pipeline contribution both inbound and outbound service.

Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post event strategy to increase engagement and response rates.

Forecast, measure, analyse, optimize and report on impact of programs.

Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities.

Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including events venues and services, digital marketing agencies, direct mail providers, SEO experts, designers, copywriters and list brokers.

Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling.

Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs.

Target segmentation analysis, budgeting and building business cases for new customer acquisition B-to-b sales cycle and how to identify opportunities Work with sales and channel to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration.

Clearly articulate a market-specific value proposition and tailor it to fit a variety of program requirements Knowledge of demand creation performance measurement, including the Sirius Decisions Demand Waterfall Market to a range of b-to-b buyers using a wide variety of offers (e.g. white papers, case studies, webcasts) and delivery mechanisms (email, telephone, direct mail)

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a marketing professional with experience working within the IT industry, who wants to make the next step and develop to a Field Marketing Management role. He/She will be results-driven and have a proven track record of ROI. He/She will have experience executing online/digital campaigns as well as experience working with the channel. The ability to influence multiple regional stakeholders and to negotiate effectively within a matrix organization is critical to the success of this role. The candidate will also be responsible for quarterly planning, budget management and tracking of ROI (contribution to pipeline and bookings). He/She will communicate regularly on progress against plan to key stakeholders.

Qualifications/Experience/Essential Requirements:

• 3+ years’ field marketing or dmand generation experience

• Familiar with B2B direct and channel marketing metrics (funnel conversion, pipeline, ROI, % contribution to the business, etc.)

• Proven track record in driving strong partner relationship and lead generation programmes

• Passionate about the technology market

• Target driven

• Detail oriented and skilled at managing to deadlines

• Strong leadership, organization and influencing skills

• A strong team player

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Excellent business acumen

• Fluent German and English
