Veritas Worldwide Field Operations Organisation (WFO)

The WFO team are critical toVeritas’ success. This group engages with the customer from thefirst contact of discussing how Veritas can support thekey business challenges through to implementation of the solution to supporting the technical teams internally.

SCOPE & PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To manage a group of accounts within the EMEA Channel, enabling our Alliance Partners to find and grow incremental revenue.

  • Customers: Alliance Partners
  • Contact Level: Cultivates relationships and commitment at the appropriate level within the Partner
  • Autonomy: Aligned to Veritas EMEA and local Channel Strategy to meet revenue and enablement goals

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary responsibility for the Account Manager role is to drive sales in their territory to ensure development targets are being exceeded within partner accounts
  • Invest their time with the Global SI / Global Service Provides team and partners and chosen distributors to become an integral part of their team and business
  • Work in a team environment with EMEA GSP team, all channel teams, ISO, marketing, sales engineering, product management and operational support teams
  • Lead setting partnership strategy, account plans and forecasting revenue for his/her partnerships
  • In conjunction with EMEA GSI / GSP team, Channel Teams, ISO, Marketing, develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for his/her territory, including obtaining support from other organizations that will contribute to the business
  • Lead key relationships with members of the partnership, and ensure appropriate executive mappings are in place. Frequently interface with the partners to gather and prioritize issues impacting success in the market place
  • Represent Veritas products, services and initiatives to the partnership, including introducing new opportunities

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in leading Alliance partners.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Comfortable presenting effectively to large audiences, both internal and external
  • Experience building relationships and working with senior leadership
  • Highly presentable, articulate and with a mature outlook
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels, to gain trust and to exercise balanced judgment. This includes both internally and at senior levels with customers
  • Skilled negotiator
  • Customer-focused
  • A self-motivated, tenacious & effective time manager needing little direct management
